About

Give Us One Minute (GUOM) is an attempt to merge several websites. Having dabbled online for years, the authors have generated a significant amount of content located all over the web. As our tag-line and category list suggest, our content is very eclectic. With content ranging from blogposts to podcasts to screencasts, the content was unwieldy and difficult to maintain. GUOM will bring all of our future content, and some of our older content, together to a single location.

So what can you expect when you Give Us One Minute? In all honesty, there’s no telling. We have very short attention spans and regularly move from interest to interest and project to project. Maybe because we have mild forms off adult ADD or maybe we just have a large number of interests. You know, “jack of all trades…master of none.” We’ll hope its more of the later, but whatever the case, we will be posting both our thoughts on articles posted by others or on occasion some original content for your to enjoy or use to better your day and quite possibly your life.

Keeping in mind that this is OUR website, the items you find here will obviously be things we enjoy. This site is not designed for a specific demographic, it’s simply our place for us to post and share our stuff and stuff we enjoy (stuff being the very technical term of course). If others like our stuff, that just makes us feel good. We like our readers and we really like finding out that folks enjoy our content and thoughts. We would also like to get your feedback on our posts and original content. So, for the two of you reading our site on a regular basis, thanks family and leave your comments using the Leave a Comment link at the top of each item.
