Commodore 64 in the palm of your hand
I have a very fond place in my heart for the Commodore 64 even though I never owned one. See…my first computer was the Commodore VIC 20. The predecessor to the C64. I spent numerous hours on this computer programming via basic and assembler (although my assembler was mostly relegated to the old peeks and pokes commands…anyone remember those?). I skipped the C64 and jumped right to the Commodore 128 which contained three modes; C64, C128 and CP/M. It was an amazing machine in its day and even though at the time I didn’t understand the significance of the inclusion of CP/M, to include these feature could have been a stellar move had MS/DOS not been so popular. So image my glee when I saw this little device appear online. Only downside is that these are not for sale (and the reason why this appears in the Make category rather than the Gadgets category.
