Fox 7 - Inspector Gadget Spot - LEGO Mindstorms NXT
In this Inspector Gadget spot which originally aired October 16th, 2006, I introduced Sean McHose to the LEGO Mindstorms NXT Robotics System. This spot has proven popular with the YouTube folks and had almost 5,000 views when this entry was posted. My main regret is that I didn’t have time to build a unique robot and wimped out by building one of the spec robotics. Although it was quite challenging to build and required a bit of time (over 4 hours), it was a good robot that had the ability to demonstrate some of the amazing features of this new robotics system.
I know I spent more time building than was probably necessary for this 3 minute spot; however, I am a BIG LEGO fan and as a former LEGO Ambassador felt I should showcase the product, no matter how long it took to prepare. As you can probably tell from the video, I feel I spent too much time building and not enough time preparing the presentation. “Keep on building!”
