GUOM Quick Tip: Using Preview.app slideshow mode to read .pdf files
We’re not fans of the bloated Adobe Acrobat Reader software. Sure, it’s a bit faster on a Mac than it is on Windows. But why do you even need to install Acrobat Reader on a Mac when Preview comes pre-loaded with OS X? For those Mac readers not in the know, Preview has all manner of goodness built in. It will open just about any image file and you can even do some basic manipulation of images, but that’s for another Quick Tip.
Today we want to show you how to use Preview as a mighty efficient .pdf file reader. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so check out the video below. It should be good for at least a million. Be sure to watch closely to observe the settings recommended from multi-page document reading.
