LEGO Self-Tracker
The next time folks make fun of you for playing with LEGO bricks, show them this little clip and be prepared for their jaws to drop in amazement. The robot created by David Wegmuller is an excellent example of the engineering design possible with LEGO bricks and robotics elements. Wegnuller has this to say of his contraption:
This is a track mounted lego vehicle that moves by shifting its own track. It’s not fast, but it works (most of the time).
Fun to watch and an amazing teaching robot. Another fine example of why we love using LEGO in the classroom to spark creativity and develop problem-solving skills with our adult students.
