Our Logo has Changed
As most of our readers know, this site is just a hobby for us. As such, readers have probably noticed that our posts come in waves. One month we may add lots of content, other months, not so much. That doesn’t mean that there aren’t things happening in the background. For instance, during the past month or two, we have been working on a new logo. We now present our new Give Us One Minute logo.

Our original logo (on the left) was simply a picture taken of a clock and then some basic edits (colorizing and sizing) using the Gimp. Our new logo was created using Inkscape. The process was simply to trace over our old logo, add some interesting branding niceties, such as adding our site name to the clock face, and then exporting the vector image to a bit-mapped image. The beauty of all of this is that we now have a vector image that we can resize to our needs and not lose any logo detail. Also take note that the Gimp and Inkscape are both free open source (free) applications. We love free apps!
So, what do you think? Do you like our new logo? Have any recommendations for improvements? Let us know by posting your comments. We’re not Graphic Designers and have had no formal design training so we are always open to suggestions from those of you that have these skills.
