The GUOM iPhone dilemma
We’re sure many of you (at least one or two…right?) are curious as to whether GUOM is going to obtain one of those wonderful new Apple iPhones. Well, we have a bit of a dilemma. Of course we want one; however, we are not the types to wait in line for anything. Heck, we leave restaurants if there is more than a 20 minute wait. We just aren’t fans of standing in line waiting for things because, well, most of the time, those things we are waiting for are not worth our time.
Given that, does it sound like we would stand in line for hours and hours waiting for something that costs so much. Of course not. “So here’s a what we are a gonna do.” We are going to get online to the Apple Store at 6pm (PDT) and see if we can order one. We used the online Apple Store chat yesterday and spoke to one of their customer care folks. They said the iPhone would be available at the time for purchase online. We’ll see. We’re hoping that the real die hard fans have to have an iPhone tomorrow evening and they can’t wait for delivery. We here at GUOM can wait and if we can’t snag a phone, we’ll chalk it up to fate telling us that we needed to wait. We’ll let you know how our online purchasing experience went.
