We’ve got snow…
On a purely personal note today. We got snow (or rather a thick layer of ice) here in south-western Indiana. Enough to warrant a couple days off for the kiddos from school. I popped a few shots this morning outside our home and have placed these photos in our Flickr account. You can check them out at:
Most of these shots were taken with my iPhone. Very disappointed in the quality. Enough so that I ran out and grabbed another couple of shots with our Fujifilm FinePix V10. Man I love that little camera. Can you pick out the two images that I snapped with this camera?
There’s enough of a difference to really make me wish that Apple would upgrade the capabilities of the iPhone camera. Maybe some third-party app (which we are supposed to begin seeing later this month) can add better control of image quality (although I’m pretty sure they won’t be able to do much as the auto-focus is pretty much fixed). I’ll keep my fingers crossed cuz when these “Kodak..err..Fuji” moments happen, it seems like the only camera I have on hand is the iPhone. Really…it’s not a bad camera for quick shots, just not a great one.
