Ready for a trip down memory lane? GUOM has seen much traffic to a past post from fellow 40ishers reminiscing about the Ready Ranger backpack (thanks for all the comments!). While reviewing my link backs, I found this page that looks at 70s comic book ads. On the page, folks discuss the ads and a few of the lucky kids who ordered these products wax poetically about what they received. They even share pics. Great fun and memories. Whitechapel - Comic Book Goodies Orders
One of my favorites was the Polaris Nuclear sub. I always wanted the sub as a kid and wondered what I would get if I had had the $6.95 to purchase. Never got one and never saw what they looked like until I visited the Whitechapel site today. Wait until you see it. Man…I missed that one. It looked very kewl.
